GRIT/TRUST Survey
As part of its ongoing research into the Curaçao community, the Think To DO Institute has been conducting a biennial survey on mindsets among residents since 2020. This year, the survey focuses on perseverance (GRIT)—one’s ability to persist—and trust in the community.
Community participation is vital, as it allows us to gain insight into personal happiness, trust, the sense of connectedness, and perseverance (GRIT) within the community. This brief survey measures individuals’ feelings regarding their ability and willingness to develop personally. It also reveals the level of trust individuals place in community institutions that meet people’s needs and enact laws to create safe neighborhoods. The survey results will be used to inform citizens and institutions about personal perseverance and community trust.
As a local civil society organization (CSO), the Think To DO Institute is committed to protecting the privacy of our stakeholders and safeguarding personal data. The Institute adheres to data protection legislation as outlined in the data policy on its website. Responses are anonymous. The survey is open to citizens of Curaçao from September 15 through November 1, 2026.
